What are Nasolabial folds (smile lines)?
Nasolabial Folds uses Versa injected into the smile lines that begin on either side of the nasal base, and run along either side of the mouth. Minor swelling may occur, and should subside with 6 weeks of treatment. Naso labial folds utilizes filler to fill in the volume lost over time.
correcting smile lines
There are two different ways to correct this. I like to correct it in two segments. One, doing a cheek augmentation to lift this area up, and the other doing filler between the outer corner of the nose down to the lip, trying to fill in that line that is created over time by volume loss in the midface.
pre-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Avoid facials, micro-blading, laser treatments, and chemical peels two weeks prior to your appointment. Make sure not to consume alcohol or NSAIDS (Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, etc) 24 to 48 hours prior to your appointment.
Make sure to stay hydrated and ear before your appointment with us.
POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Post Op is pretty simple, keep the area iced to help reduce swelling and redness. The full recovery time for most injectables is 4 to 6 weeks. The healing process is never even so the swelling has the potential to be uneven over time. Please report any redness, itching or blisters if it occurs, it is extremely important to let us know.
After your treatment, avoid the following for the next 24-48 hours:
- Saunas
- Intense Workouts
- Tanning Beds
- Any Facial Treatments (facials, lashes, etc.) (try to avoid all facial treatments for two weeks)
