Full Cheek Augmentation is for People Who Have Lost Mid-Face Volume.
Full cheek augmentation is a treatment that is used to help midface volume loss. So, when we lose volume through this area, this begins to kind of give an appearance of sagging. So, by replacing that volume loss here, we’ll give a nice, beautiful lift to the cheek area, and also make you look contoured.
We use Radiesse for our cheek corrections
Pop uses Radiesse injected into the lateral cheek to add definition, replenish volume, and balance other facial features. Volume loss that occurs as we age can cause the face to appear like it is sagging, and create unwanted wrinkles and folds. Substantial swelling may occur, but subsides within 3-7 days post treatment. All swelling should subside within 6 weeks of treatment.
Avoid facials, micro-blading, laser treatments, and chemical peels two weeks prior to your appointment. Make sure not to consume alcohol or NSAIDS (Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, etc) 24 to 48 hours prior to your appointment.
Make sure to stay hydrated and ear before your appointment with us.
Recovery time is typically 6-8 weeks.
Post Op is pretty simple, keep the area iced to help reduce swelling and redness. The full recovery time for most injectables is 4 to 6 weeks. The healing process is never even so the swelling has the potential to be uneven over time. Please report any redness, itching or blisters if it occurs, it is extremely important to let us know.
After your treatment, avoid the following for the next 24-48 hours:
- Intense Workouts
- Tanning Beds
- Any Facial Treatments (facials, lashes, etc.) (try to avoid all facial treatments for two weeks)
